Method 1: One-Tap Activation Link
If you purchased PocketAI Pro from our website, your confirmation email contains an instant activation link formatted like this:
pocketai://activate?key=YOUR_LICENSE_KEYSimply open that email on your iPhone or Mac and tap the link. PocketAI will launch automatically and verify the signature locally.
Method 2: Manual Paste in Settings
If you prefer to copy and paste your key manually:
- Open PocketAI on your iPhone or Mac.
- Navigate to Settings → Pro.
- Tap Have a license key?.
- Paste your license key string and select Unlock Pro.
iPhone: the iPhone app is free and has no licence to enter. PocketAI Pro is a Mac licence.
How Offline Activation Works
Unlike traditional software that phones home to a centralized activation server each time you open the app, PocketAI uses asymmetric Ed25519 digital signatures.
Your license key contains a signed payload specifying your license tier. When you input the key, PocketAI's core Rust engine cryptographically verifies the signature against our embedded public key. The verification happens entirely in local memory in less than a millisecond — even if your device is in airplane mode with no internet connection.
Using Your Key on Multiple Devices
A single PocketAI Pro license grants personal usage on up to 5 of your personal Apple devices (iPhone, iPad, and Mac). Simply enter the same key on each device to unlock Mac pairing and local network serving.
